BXF Energia, a company within the Budimex Group, actively participated in this year’s edition of the Polish Wind Energy Association Conference (PSEW 2025). The event, one of the most important meetings of the renewable energy sector in Poland, brought together representatives of public administration, business, and renewable energy experts.
BXF Energia’s involvement was multifaceted – ranging from sponsoring the pre-event, through active participation in expert panels, to presenting the company’s strategic development directions.
BXF Energia as Sponsor of PSEW 2025
As part of this year’s edition, BXF Energia acted as the Sponsor of PSEW 2025. The company supported the conference pre-event – a networking meeting designed to foster closer cooperation among investors, developers, financial institutions, and representatives of public administration.
This initiative gave BXF Energia the opportunity to strengthen its relationships with industry partners and highlight its commitment to the development of the national renewable energy sector.

Expert Panel with the Participation of Tomasz Grzęda
A key element of BXF Energia’s presence at PSEW 2025 was the participation of Tomasz Grzęda, Member of the Management Board, in the panel discussion “How to build onshore wind in a changing legal environment?”
During the debate, which was partnered by BXF Energia, the main challenges and opportunities facing the Polish wind energy market were discussed. Tomasz Grzęda presented the company’s priorities, including:
- the need to conduct planning and environmental procedures in parallel,
- ensuring that only investors genuinely prepared to implement projects are admitted to the process,
- leveraging new legislative frameworks, such as the Wind Farm Act, spatial planning reform, and the concept of Renewable Energy Acceleration Zones, as tools to speed up project implementation.
The discussion confirmed that regulatory changes, combined with appropriate mechanisms, can serve as a catalyst for the further development of onshore wind energy in Poland.

Strategic Development Directions of BXF Energia
The conclusions of the conference are reflected in the company’s ongoing activities. As emphasized by Tomasz Grzęda in an interview with WysokieNapiecie.pl, BXF Energia currently manages a project pipeline exceeding 2 GW in total capacity.
Key projects include:
- Magnolia Wind Farm (approx. 7 MW) – operating since September 2023 under a cPPA contract,
- Azalia Solar Farm (approx. 60 MWp) – a project located in the Podkarpackie region,
- Kamelia Solar Farm (21 MWp) – developed for the Budimex Group, currently undergoing grid connection.
The company’s strategy is to achieve 500 MW of installed capacity by 2027–2028, while simultaneously advancing additional projects with a combined capacity of approximately 600 MW.
Summary of BXF Energia’s Participation in PSEW 2025
BXF Energia’s involvement in the PSEW 2025 Conference represents another example of the company’s active presence at key industry events in Poland. Acting as a sponsor and contributing to expert debate underscored the company’s role as both a substantive partner and an investor committed to advancing the national renewable energy sector.
Drawing on the long-standing experience of the Budimex Group and the technological and organizational expertise of Ferrovial, BXF Energia is consistently expanding its portfolio of wind and solar projects. By combining local know-how with international expertise, the company is developing renewable energy solutions that increase the share of clean energy in the national mix and support the long-term transformation of the energy sector.
